Welcome to Kingdom Hearts: Memory Requiem, a mature roleplaying site based on Disney and Square Enix's Kingdom Heart video game series! This isn't your typical happy-go-lucky Kingdom Hearts roleplay. Romance, blood, gore and violence are involved and you must be able to handle that.
We are a free-for-all RP, which means you can write as much or little as desired and all levels beginner to advanced are allowed. :)
There isn't a story to play, which gives you the freedom to create your own story. Join a group of people to play with and build your character and its history. MR is all about character building!
We have many features including a currency system called Munny, four unique shops, a bank to protect your hard earned munny, many worlds to explore, contests, MOTM & COTM (member and character of the month), and much more!

Everyone arrived safely. The chill of darkness could be felt against their skin amidst the dark atmosphere. No wonder it was called Realm of Darkness. "I don't think I've been here before...." Aria realized. "I know I haven't," Traelyn added. Zach on the other hand had been here. Pleasant memories were nonexistent in this place. He was silent about it, not wanting to bring back bad memories. Being in the Darkness in general was enough. "Time to get this message out!" Traelyn said.
Alexander fought back the shudders that he felt upon arriving in this dark place.
Jack did shudder and looked around. "what a wonderful place...." He muttered sarcastically.
"well I better get started, remember if anything happens, just make sure I get to keep reading" Alexander explained, this spell was delicate and had to be done just right.
"right boss" Jack replied.
Alexander started reading, his voice grew louder and began to echo. now it began....
OOC: I thought we would have a battle to protect Alexander for a few posts before the spell took effect. but either way the message isn't a word message, its just the HoJ symbol coming out of the realm of darkness, and that symbol can be seen by everyone in every world for a few moments. though I suppose all the good guys could get a message they hear in their heads saying something like "the Holders of Justice have not died, believe in your own light to take you there" and then you can explain that all good guys have the power to go to the HoJ base anytime they want by using the light.
I'll have little shadow heartless come out, and you can make something if you want. Up to you.))
Just as Alexander was about to begin, several shadow heartless appeared. They jerked their little heads at first, just as all Shadows do, and then they charge at the group including Alexander. Traelyn stepped back and shot at them with her disks, Zach ran up and defended Alexander against the heartless near him and Aria fought off heartless that appeared off to the side.
Alexander began chanting the spell, speaking a strange unheard of language.
Jack slashed a shadow heartless before it attacked Alexander. these creatures were weak, but they came in such large numbers it would be tough to keep them all at bay.
After a few waves, Neo shadows began taking their place, rushing in to devour the hearts of these heroes who intruded on their land.
Aria blasted holy at the small dark creatures, killing them instantly. Zach and Traelyn continued slashing and slicing heartless, one by one, or more like three by three, and so on. Wes was well enough to fight at this point and obviously didn't need help standing anymore, seeing as Trae didn't need to when they arrived here. Apparently, Aria's healing spell worked. He had already been fighting these creatures when the others started.
But then neo shadows appeared. They were tougher than the small shadows, but it wasn't anything they couldn't handle. The only obstacle was the numbers, just like the Shadows before. Aria blasted more holy magic, while the other three continued attacking.
Holy light burst from the ground around Alexander, in a large pillar. The spell was almost done, and he was now being protected by the light, but the rest of the group still had to keep themselves alive.
Neo shadows kept popping up, their numbers seeming endless.
Dark ball heartless began to pop up. Wizard heartless began to pop up. the darkness was trying to stop them, that was for sure.
Jack was attacked from behind by a heartless and knocked to the ground, he managed to kick the heartless off him, then slashed it.
the closer the spell got to being done, the more fierce the heartless grew.
Just the mere glance at the sudden appearance of all these creatures exhausted all of them. It was all too much now.
Aria blasted Holy Circle at a group of Heartless, killing them instantly. Wes and Zach rapidly slashed at them, though getting hit from behind as well. Traelyn fired her discs as fast as she could, jumping around and running from far away. This exhausting.
Alexander couldn't reply, if he said anything to his friends it would interrupt the spell, and he kept reading.
Jack slashed at an on coming dark ball heartless. The heartless kept coming though. Jack's sword began to glow with a holy light. A heartless came up from behind him but before it could hit, Jack was gone, and now stood behind the neo shadow heartless that tried to attack him. He moved that fast, which was faster than normal. He slashed the heartless shredding it into nothing with one holy slash. A strange blueish white light lit up in Jack's eyes and it seemed a holy power had possessed him. Heartless continued to swarm, and Jack took off running. to anyone watching all they could see was a greenish blur and heartless getting torn apart left and right.
The light around Alexander grew wider and wider, then finally exploded outward, sending light streaming across the ground and through the air. Soon the holders of justice symbol lit up the sky, the spell was done, and the book crumbled to dust.
Aria, Zach, Wes and Traelyn all kept fighting as the light shot out. There wasn't time to look away from all the oncoming heartless and could only see Jack's rapid blur in their peripheral vision.
Seconds later, the dark creatures fled at the sight of the Light and then the area was clear. But it wouldn't be for long... As soon as the symbol and light fades, they would be back. Meaning that the HoJ members needed to get out fast.
Everyone finally had a chance to look up at the sky once the enemy fled. Never again would the darkened sky of Realm of Darkness be lit with such brilliant light. It really was an experience one would be foolish to ignore.
They stared in awe. It was all too amazing.
((NOW I'll make that event update thing. Come to think of it....I COULD'VE done so sooner, but yeah.... Didn't think of that. >.< ))
Alexander stared up in the sky in awe like everyone else. "Bringing light to this dark realm...I never thought it would be possible, not even for a short time" He said.
Jack just shrugged and pulled the cork out of his bottle. "Light can be found in the darkest of places...but then again, darkness can be found even in the brightest light, isn't that right Alexander?" He asked, as if he knew something the others didn't.
Alexander looked down at Jack and glared at him "Lets not spoil this joyous moment with mysterious comments like that" He suggested.
"Your right...we should be more focused on leaving" Jack replied. He didn't want to be here when all the heartless came back.
"Let's get out of here," Zach agreed. "Before they come back...." "We should go back to Saints' Paradise and decide what to do from there," Aria suggested.
